These spammers are an epidemic on society and I do everything to stop them. Last night we had no less than 3 different spammers try to send us a fax in the wee hours of the morning. I simply unplug the phone line from the fax machine and we only use it to send out faxes to dinosaurs that don't know how to use email yet. I just plug the line back in to send a fax out and unplug it after it's done. The fax machine will be thrown out and NEVER replaced once it dies. It's now 8 years old and if it lasts much longer I will shoot it and put it our of our misery.
I also received a call from this number on my throw-away cell phone which was purchased from 711. It has a great function on it to block numbers. Once you enter the number into this cheap phone, it will never ring again or leave a message if that number calls.

Got called at 10am at work. it was an automated recording of an english speaking woman with no accent. Something to the tune of "Hello, this is an important message. We are not trying to sell anything. We realize that this may be your cellular telephone and it may be costing you money. We only have one question to ask. We would would like you to participate in a short but very important survey"
I'm paraphrasing this message, its not exactly how it went. I hung up the phone before it could go any further.

Calls at all hours of the night. Last call received July 29,2009 at 2 AM.
